LOT DEVELOPMENT

When building here, in Rhode Island, each town/city has its' own unique set of regulations. Whether you are building near the coast, on a pond or river, in the woods, or in the big city, our staff has the knowledge to get your project up and running.

Soil Evaluations

State regulations require that for new building construction or alteration of an existing system, a soil evaluation must be conducted to determine the seasonal high water table on your parcel. We have a Rhode Island DEM licensed soil evaluator on staff to give our clients a complete in-house service.

O.W.T.S. Designs

Where town or city sewer lines do not run an Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) needs to be installed to collect sewage and gray water. We design repairs, alterations and new construction. We have a Rhode Island DEM licensed Class II Designer on staff.

Wetlands Location & Mapping

Wetlands are areas in continuous saturation and contain soils categorized as hydric. Sometimes wetlands can cause many problems in lot development, especially if a wetland takes up a major portion of a lot. In this case, it is best to create a map showing the location of all wetlands on your parcel so you can best manage the areas of upland for development purposes.
